Anderson - Mary June (Hoel) Lindzy, 89, Anderson, died July 9, 2012 at Edgewater Woods in Anderson after an extended illness.
She was born June 19, 1923 in Ovid, Indiana.
She was a homemaker and enjoyed crafts.
Mary was a member of Ovid Community Church, where she served as Missionary Secretary & member of the Ladies Circle. She was a former member of Ovid Order of the Eastern Star, now Anderson Order of Eastern Star #154.
Survivors include her children, Patricia (Ronn) Mauck, Marcia Lindzy & Russell Lindzy; sister, Hazel Beatrice Price; eight grandchildren, Tina (Paul) Reichandater, Amy Jo Mauck, Beth (John) Richwine, Faith Ann (Rick) Walden, Paul Jean (Carrie) Gardner II, Russell M. Lindzy, Jessica Ann Lindzy, & Emily Ann Lindzy; twelve great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. The family wishes to thank the staff at Edgewater Woods for their great care.
She was preceded in death by her husband of forty-six years, Clarence Russell Lindzy, in September of 1991; parents, Ithamer Hoel & Tabitha Mabel (Rector) Hughes; two sisters and one brother.
Visitation will be from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM on Thursday, July 12, 2012 at Robert D. Loose Funeral Home, 200 W. 53rd St., Anderson, IN 46013, with the service following at 1:00 PM.
Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Anderson.
