WHY PREPLAN?...

Pre-Planning is a growing trend in our society today. Preplanning funeral services started in earnest about 12 years ago and has grown significantly. In fact, current statistics show that one (1) out of two (2) services will be preplanned by 2005.

Why this enormous trend?
From our perspective, preplanning relieves families from difficult responsibilities at an already stressful and emotional time. It allows a person to gather the information needed at the time of a loss and make decisions on services and selections before the need arises. There are 85+ questions that need to be answered and decisions which need to be made within the first 24 - 48 hours of a loss. When a person preplans, major decisions have been previously made and family members need only verify information. This is a much simpler process for families and we witness this convenience every day.

Research shows there are three (3) primary reasons people preplan:
  1. Relieve an emotional burden from those they love with this thoughtful expression of love & concern.
  2. Select the type of service and funeral merchandise desired.
  3. Alleviate a financial burden from their family - price protection.

The benefits of preplanning:
  1. Helps protect those you love from difficult decisions at a stressful and emotional time.
  2. Offers peace of mind.
  3. Helps block emotional overspending by family.
  4. Eliminates irreversible mistakes.
  5. Relieves difficult duties.
  6. Avoids possible family disagreements.
  7. And can Lock-in funeral service costs at today's price.
