Anderson - Joseph James Fredericks, 89, Anderson, died May 22, 2003 at his residence after an extended illness. He was born December 25, 1913 in Anderson, Indiana, and resided in Anderson, Indiana. He lived most of his life in Anderson. He moved to Ft. Myers, Florida from 1985-1996 and then back to Anderson. He retired from Anderson Newspapers, Inc as a pressman working 10 years for the Herald and 10 years for the Bulletin. He was the Owner/Operator of Wendy's Cocktail Lounge in Anderson for several years. He attended St. Mary's Catholic School in Anderson. He was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Anderson and a member of the Knights of Columbus, Council #563. He is survived by his Wife whom he married March 27, 1937: Winona M. Cummings Fredericks of Anderson. One Son: Thomas J. & wife Susan E. Fredericks of Anderson. Four Daughters: Patricia & husband Kenneth Luttrell of Anderson. Marjorie & husband Don Sweeney of Anderson. Beverly & husband Steve Guilkey of Fishers. Judith K. Wagoner of Anderson. Two Brothers: John Fredericks of Punta Gorda, Florida. Wilbert & wife Phyllis Fredericks of Pendleton. Two Sisters: Margaret Johnson of Oregon. Katherine King of Anderson. Grandchildren & their Spouses: Deborah Fredericks of Sarasota, Florida. Edward & Dana Fredericks of Cincinnati, Ohio. Cindy Fredericks of Anderson. Kenlee & Scott Etienne of Indianapolis. Linda & Eric Beach of Greenwood. Connie & David Lines of Anderson. Numerous Nieces & Nephews He was preceded by his Parents: Edward A. & Margaret O. Riley Fredericks. Brother: Edward Fredericks. Sisters: Alice Fredericks and Mary Helen Hoffner. Grandson: Jimmy Luttrell in 2002. Private Family Graveside Service with Rev. Edward Dhondt officiating. Burial of ashes will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Anderson .
