Mary A. Leslie

Chesterfield - Mary A. Bennett Leslie, 81, Chesterfield, died at the home of her daughter, Brenda, with her loving family at her side on December 20, 2007 after an extended illness. She was born April 25, 1926 in Indianapolis, Indiana, and resided in Madison County most of her life. She attended Anderson High School. Mary was a homemaker and loved to crochet. Her life was her children; Sam, Pat, Wanda, Paul, Brenda, her grandchildren and great grandchildren. They all coveted the precious gift of her love. She is survived by her son, Sam Leslie of Anderson; daughters, Patricia Vance Justice of Anderson, Wanda Terry Ancil of Anderson and Brenda Tom Huston of Chesterfield; grandchildren, Michael Carissa Leslie, Timothy Justice Special friend, Cindy, London Randy Nelson, Samuel Sabrina Justice, Mary Reed fiance Bob Burns and Leslie Brian Wilhoite. Her daughter Brenda and her granddaughter, Leslie, took special loving care of her for the last 3 years. Also surviving are 13 precious great grandchildren, one niece, three nephews, many other special family members, and a special friend and hairdresser, Pat Branham. A very special thanks to Dr. Daniela Djodjeva for her special care and a special thanks to Community Home Health Care and Hospice for their wonderful care. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Leslie in 1985; mother, Bessie L. Bennett; brother, Sam Bennett; sister, Neelienia Wagner; precious son, Paul Leslie; precious grandson, Jeffrey Ancil and very special daughter-in-law, Sandy Sue Leslie. Services will be Saturday, December 22, 2007 at 2:30 PM, at Robert D. Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, South Chapel; 200 W. 53rd Street; Anderson, with Rev. Gary Klinger officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Anderson. A dove release ceremony is scheduled.
