Isabel Prieto Garrett

Markleville - Isabel Prieto Graciano Garrett, 61, went home to be with her Lord on February 20, 2005 at Methodist Hospital-Indianapolis after a brief illness. She was born January 6, 1944 in El Rubio, Sevilla, Spain, and resided in Markleville, Indiana. She was born and raised in Spain until the age of 24, when she came to the US and became a full U.S. Citizen living in Anderson, Middletown and Markleville. She was a Nursing Home Caregiver and lover of the Aged which included Rawlins House and Miller's Merry Manor in Middletown. She was a member of St. Mary's and St. Ambrose Catholic Churches. She was the Vice President of the Bible Spanish Group and Assistant Music Director at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Her hobbies were reading scripture and being a devoted mother and grandmother. She is survived by her four children: Jack Kimmerling of Pendleton. Frank Kimmerling of New York. Marie & husband Craig Boone of Noblesville. Tony & wife Lisa Kimmerling of Middletown. Three Stepsons: Danny Garrett. Tom & wife Joan Garrett of Indianapolis. John & wife Chun Garrett of Indianapolis. Daughters-in-law: Christine Kimmerling and Shelly Kimmerling. Three Brothers: Antonio Carmona Graciano & wife Mercedes Rodriguez Martin, Francisco Prieto Graciano & wife Luisa Cala Roble and Manuel Prieto Graciano & wife Dolores ''Lola'', all from Valencia, Spain. Grandchildren: Adam, Sarah, Elizabeth, Aimee, Kyra, Nathan and Bryant Kimmerling, Timothy and Jennifer Garrett. Several Nieces & Nephews. She was preceded by her husband whom she married November 21, 1970: Russell Dale Garrett in April 1997. Father: Francisco Prieto Hormedo. Mother: Faviana Graciano Mayano. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, February 23, 2005 at 1:00 PM, at St. Mary's Catholic Church; 1115 Pearl Street; Anderson, with Rev. Robert Williams officiating. Burial will be in Mechanicsburg Cemetery-Mechanicsburg. Visitation will be from 4-8:00 PM on Tuesday, February 22, 2005 at Robert D. Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, South Chapel; 200 W. 53rd Street; Anderson.
