Jeannette Moss

Jeannette Moss, 82, of Anderson, passed away on September 5, 2012 at Countryside Manor in Anderson. She was born on February 2, 1930 in Anderson and resided most of her life here. Jeannette attended Anderson High School. She was a loving wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great grandmother, and homemaker. She loved playing rummy and loved animals. She also enjoyed traveling, movies, television, and eating out at Red Lobster. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family. She also enjoyed cooking and was very good at it. Jeannette is survived by her family; Children; Larry J. Several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends also survive. Also, her loving cat "Roxie" and dog "Brutus" survive. Jeannette was a strong support system for her five-generation family. She was preceded in death by husband, Joseph F. Moss, mother, Anna M Smith, father, Arthur L. Smith, son, Michael Moss, sister, Geneva Lamphery, sister, Edna Smith, brother, Robert F. Smith, brother, Arthur Smith, Jr., daughter-in-law, Dawn Moss, grandson, Christopher Baker, grandson, Stephen Moss, granddaughter, Tina Danner, grandson, Douglas Ellsworth and grandson, Brian Miller. She was also preceded by nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Visitation will be held Monday, September 10, 2012 from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Robert D. Loose Funeral Home & Crematory, 200 West 53rd Street, Anderson. Services will be Tuesday, September 11, 2012, 1:00 PM at the funeral home with the Rev. Forrest "Press" Higginbotham officiating.
