Alot of you have heard an ugly rumor that I died, but DON'T you believe it for a minute! The truth is, I am more ALIVE now than I have EVER been! Joshua's Lord& Savior, Jesus Christ took him from our care today, but NOT our hearts and memories! He knew he was so absolutely Blessed growing up & just not long ago reminded us of that fact. Recently we were reminiscing of when he was little, and he was sick. He would say, "Mommie, will you please put a movie on, and come sit with me?" And of course I would, so the housework could just wait. And he'd hug me and say Thank You Mommie, I love you soooooo much! He had just married the Love of his life, Jennifer Lyles, July 6th of this year. He had the loving example of a Dad that showed his Mom love everyday, & so in turn, his wife Jennifer benefited of that love passed down! On his birthday, two days ago, I texted Happy Birthday to him, and told him we were watching the movie, "Jesus of Nazareth" and he said back that he wished he could be here to watch it with us. He and Jennifer stopped by for a few minutes later and got to see Jesus heal a blind man....Well now he's meeting for himself the blind man healer, the mender of broken hearts and Savior of his soul! Welcome Home Son, your race is WON!!! As King David said in GOD'S word: he can't come back to me, but I can go to him! Praise GOD! One life surely touches so many! It's bittersweet that we miss you already Son, but at the same time, we rejoice in our Savior, knowing we will see you soon and very soon! We have that Blessed Hope! We Love You with all our hearts, Love DAD & MOM, & All your Loved ones. We know that now you're Pain free, & worry free! Praise GOD! And when we finally reach Heaven, we can just hear you say, "What took you guys so long?" He was More than ready to finally meet his LORD & Savior, Jesus Christ and the LORD finally agreed to it! He leaves to cherish his memory, his Dad & Mom, Roger & Susie, his "Baby Girl", wife Jennifer; his 3 step-sons, Eric, Liam & Kayden; his Mamaw, Joey Hensley; Aunt Connie Uncle Vaughn Walker, Uncle Danny Aunt Betty Dishman, a.k.a. Aunt Betty Boop, Uncle John & Aunt Pam Isom, Uncle Jay & Debbie Dishman, Uncle Randy Dishman, Uncle Brad & Aunt Damita Calhoun, Uncle Bill & Aunt Drenda Sanders, Uncle Mark & Aunt Kara Richardson, Uncle Mike & Aunt Judy Richardson, Uncle Rusty & Aunt Alice Sanders, Uncle Robert & Aunt Jean Sanders; several cousins and friends, too many to name & not forget someone. Also surviving is a special friend of them both, Brooke Baker. Last, but not least, his loving cat, who would SO crack him up, "Sitara".
