Kenneth Donald Levy

Anderson - Kenneth Donald Levy, 83, Anderson, died June 10, 2004 at St. Johns Health System, Anderson Indiana after an extended illness. He was born March 30, 1921 in Kokomo, Indiana, and had lived in St. Louis, returning to Anderson after retirement. He retired from American Car Foundry. He served his country in the US Navy during WWII as a Bombadier, Navigator and Pilot where he flew in the PB4Y2. He was a member of Meadowbrook Baptist Church. He was a member of Mt. Moriah Masonic Lodge#77, F. & A.M. where he was a 50 year member. He was also a member of the Chesterfield American Legion and the AARP. He was a man who always gave from his heart through contributions to many charitable organizations. He was an avid golfer. He is survived by his Sister-in-law, Dorothy Roof; brother-in-law, James & wife Coralene Cooper of Texas; nephew and caregiver, Dennis & wife Juanita Roof of Anderson; nieces and nephews, Kay McDolen, John Barger, Tristy & husband Ap Loyd, Dr. Brad & wife Konni Coopers, Bob & wife Ro Levy, Ralph & wife Sue Levy, Wayne Levy,Charles ''Jack'' Rockhold, Delores Evelyn Kincaid, Vernon Rockhold, Fred Roland Rockhold, Richard Levy, Jocelyn Levy, Jim Levy, Jerry Fleet, Frederick, Robert Stevenson, William Rudolph Stevenson, Earl M. Stevenson, Edith M. Doland, Mary Janet Tinker Shina, Larry Onkes, Mark Levy, Robin Johanning and Kent Levy; many other nieces and nephews and many special friends. He was preceded by his wife whom he married June 23, 1943 in Hollywood, Florida, Joan Cooper Levy who passed away on October 15, 2000; parents, Frank M. ''Pete'' & Edith May Downs Levy; five sisters, Nellie Barger, Harriett ''Peggy'' Rockhold, Ruth Stevenson, Edith Fleet and Mona Good-Blueher and four brothers, Earl Levy, William Levy, Dan Levy and Charles Levy. Services will be Tuesday, June 15, 2004 at 1:00 PM, at Robert D. Loose Funeral Home, South Chapel, with Rev. Orland Gibbons officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Anderson. Visitation will be from 4-8:00 PM on Monday, June 14, 2004 at South Chapel.
