Lori Lyn Callender

Anderson - Lori Lyn Hite Callender, 45, Anderson, went home to be with her Heavenly Father on April 25, 2006 after a four year battle with breast cancer. Lori was a 1979 graduate of Highland High School, where she was a varsity cheerleader and a member of the gymnastics team. She attended Ball State University, Eastside Church of God and Bible Study Fellowship at the Chesterfield Christian Church. Lori adored children and was the proud owner of ''Just for Kids'' daycare/preschool which was nominated for Anderson's best Day Care in 2004. She also was a coach for the Anderson YMCA gymnastics team in the early 1980s. She is survived by her parents, Ralph and Kay Hite of Anderson; her two children, Kiely Callender of Anderson, Chad Callender United States Air Force in Columbus, Mississippi; her brother, Troy & wife Ellen Hite of Anderson; her sister, Holly & husband Todd McMullen of Pendleton; her devoted and beloved fiance, Lee Quallo of Anderson; uncle, Phil & wife Lois Harris of Geneva, Illinois; aunts, Nancy Harris of Conroe, Texas , Emma Brady of Anderson; several nieces and nephews; special friend, Jennifer Rushton Welker & her family and her little Yorkie, Pebbles. The family wishes to thank Tina at the Madison County Cancer Center, William Anderson MD, and St. John's Hospice for their loving care and support. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, W. Hardin and Anne M. Harris; paternal grandparents, Jesse and Mildred Hite; an uncle, Hal Harris of Conroe, Texas; an aunt, Elaine Harris Boys of Anderson and a cousin, Brent Boys of Texas. Services will be Saturday, April 29, 2006 at 1:00 PM, at Robert D. Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, South Chapel; 200 W. 53rd Street; Anderson, with a friend of the family, Shawn Huck officiating. Burial will be in East Maplewood Cemetery, Anderson. Visitation will be from 3-8:00 PM on Friday, April 28, 2006 at the funeral home, south chapel. Lori requested a celebration of her life following graveside services at Robert D. Loose Community Room in the Carriage House. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to The Susan G.
