Rosemary B. Sigler

Anderson - Rosemary B. Bauer Sigler, 77, Anderson, died May 7, 2002 at St. Vincent Hospice, Indianapolis after an extended illness. She was born January 28, 1925 in Anderson, Indiana, and resided in Anderson, Indiana. She was a lifelong Anderson resident. She retired from Delco Remy Division of General Motors in the accounting department in 1983 after 20 years of service. She was a 1942 graduate of Anderson High School and graduated from Indiana Business College in 1943. She was a 70 year member of St. John's Lutheran Church, serving as Sunday School teacher, secretary of the Church Council, editor of the church newsletter and financial secretary. She was also an associate member of Redeemer Lutheran Church; Fort Myers, Florida. She was a member of Anderson Country Club and Westminster Country Club in Lehigh, Florida. She was a Life Master in the American Contract Bridge League since 1978, Life Member of Madison County Women's Republican Club and former volunteer and life member of Victoria Guild at St. John's Health System. She was a member of United Faith Housing Board of Directors and served on Isabel Society Board of Directors and as a volunteer shopper for Harter House. She is survived by her husband whom she married January 13, 1996, William Sigler One Daughter: Marianne Carlile of Anderson. Grandson: Andrew Joseph Carlile. Two Brothers: Jack E. & wife Juda Bauer of Anderson. Rev. W. Gene & wife Gay Bauer of Fishers. Two Step-daughters: Janis & husband Jack Den Herder of Paulding, Ohio. Patti & husband Jerry Feder of Mainville, Ohio. Step Grandsons: William Den Herder and Joseph Den Herder, both of Paulding, Ohio. Aunts: Margaret Gilbert of Louisville, Kentucky. Alberta Baldwin of Anderson. Nephews: Michael Bauer and Eric & wife Diane Bauer. Nieces: Diana Taylor, Cheryl See, Nancy & husband James Fairchild, Erin & husband Dale Corbin and Betty Bauer Bailey. Also surviving are many cousins, great nieces, great nephews including special niece: Kay & husband Bill Stommel of Fortville. She was preceded in death by her parents: Wallace and Edna Baldwin Bauer. Sister: Margaret Ann Bauer. First Husband of 38 years: Jack Carlile. Services will be Friday, May 10, 2002 at 11:30 am, at St. John's Lutheran Church; 310 E. 53rd Street; Anderson, with Dr. Paul Krebs of St. John's Lutheran Church. officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Anderson . Visitation will be from 10:00-11:30 AM at the church.
