Sabrina Alice Morin

Sabrina Alice Morin of Anderson, Indiana, passed away peacefully at home on March 7, 2026, surrounded by her loving family and supported by Heart to Heart Hospice. Sabrina was born on March 11, 1934, in Ovid, Indiana, to her parents, Albert and Grace (Baker) Adams, where she spent much of her childhood. Her loving mother, Grace, passed away when Sabrina was 11 years old, but during those years, she received nurturing care from her older sister, Vada. Sabrina also fondly remembered her father, Albert, as a very caring and loving father to her and her sisters, Junya and Vada. At the age of 17, she met the love of her life, Allen Morin, in the very church where she first saw him singing. Sabrina loved music and played both the piano and accordion throughout her life, often sharing her gifts in church. Sabrina and Allen were married on June 27, 1952, and together they raised seven children. Her faith in and love for Jesus were always a prominent part of Sabrina’s life, and she expressed it often not only through her spirit of prayerful encouragement for her family and friends, but often through her music, playing piano and accordion, often singing in church services and revivals. Early in their family life, Sabrina and Allen attended North Anderson Wesleyan church and were members of Middletown Church of the Nazarene for over 25 years. Sabrina is survived by five of her seven children: Jada (Steven) Conner, Rhonda (Michael) Lawson, Jeffrey (Sue) Morin, Joy (Mike) Norton, and Jennifer (Terry) Young; daughter-in-law, Pat Morin; 14 grandchildren: Tony, Brent, Nathanael, Christen, Morgan, Adam, Taylor, Sarah, Katie, Jake, Andrew, Karli, Alex and Lucas; nine great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Allen Morin; her parents, Albert and Grace Adams; her children, Richard (Rick) Morin and Julie Renee Morin; one great-grandchild, Brock Morin; her sisters, Junya Blake and Vada Morin and her half-brother, Bob Adams. Visitation will be held at Loose Funeral Home & Crematory, 200 West 53rd Street, Anderson, Indiana, on Tuesday, March 10, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., and again on Wednesday, March 11 (Sabrina’s birthday), from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m., one hour prior to the memorial service. The memorial service will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 11, at Loose Funeral Home, officiated by Pastor Phil Rogers, with burial following at Grovelawn Cemetery in Pendleton, Indiana.
