Teresa Michelle Gore

Teresa Michelle Daws Gore, 49, of Frankton, passed away on October 26, 2013 at the St. Vincents Hospital Anderson following a courageous battle with cancer. She was born on March 25, 1964 in Livingston, Tennessee. On March 24, 1984, Teresa married Gary Gore, and has resided in the Anderson/Frankton area since that time. Teresa worked in the cafeteria of the Anderson Community Schools for several years. She was also a member of Redeemer Baptist Church. She enjoyed crafting, cooking, shopping, gardening, and being outdoors. Her love for life, good heart, contagious laugh, and outgoing personality made it easy for her to make lifelong friends. She was a devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. Her greatest enjoyments came from spending time with the ones she loved, especially her husband, children, and dogs. Teresa is survived by her loving husband, Gary Gore; daughter, Brittaney fiance Josh Schott Gore; son, Brandon Amanda Mayhew Gore; mother, Linda Rose Daws; brothers, Jeff Daws and Eddie Melissa Daws; father in-law Bernard Gore; sister and brother in-laws, Nancy Veach, Randy Kathy Gore, Larry Angela Gore, Vonda Matt Saylor, and Mike Wanda Gore; Nieces and nephews, Savannah Daws, Jennifer and Amanda Veach, Randa and Lacey Gore, Emily Spacaj, Dalton and Garrett Saylor, and Dustin and Kayla Gore; great nephews Ethan, Kevin and Jordan Gore; and several special friends. She was preceded in death by father, Arvel Lee Daws; grandparents, Esque Johnson, Claude Wilson, and Annie Mae Wilson: mother in-law, Velma Gore; Brother-in-law, Tim Veach; and nephew, Derek Gore. Gary and the family would like to thank Dr. Brian Eddy and his staff, Dr. David Mares, Brandon Aiman and the staff of the Anderson Cancer Center for their exceptional care. Visitation will be held Tuesday, October 29th from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm, and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday at Robert D. Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, 200 West 53rd St. Anderson. Services will be Wednesday, October 30th at 2:30 pm at the funeral home with Pastor Brad Storm officiating. Burial will take place in the K. of P. I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Frankton.
