Tiffany Joann King

It is with great sadness that the family and friends of Tiffany Joann King announce her passing on March 6, 2025, at the IU Simon Cancer Center in Indianapolis after a three-week battle with acute myeloid leukemia. She was born on September 22, 1982, in Augusta, Georgia and resided most of her life in Anderson. Tiffany graduated from Anderson High School in 2001. After graduation, she became a CNA and worked in daycare. This led her to Lapel Elementary School where she impacted every life of her pre-K kiddos, attending their birthday parties, sporting events, and taking selfies with them in the pickup line. Tiffany also loved spending time with her family - creating Christmas treat trays, having Halloween parties, throwing lots of birthday parties, and going to Holiday World every year. Tiffany never missed her kids’ events — wrestling matches, football games, swim meets, soccer games, softball and baseball games, basketball games, choir and band concerts, cheer events, school dances, first dates, and so much more. She also enjoyed time with her friends — going to concerts, getting her nails done, traveling, getting tattoos, diamond painting, shopping, playing games and doing her daily Golden Girls trivia. Tiffany also loved lounging in her hammock, cuddling with her fur babies, going to the beach, reading, going on date nights and watching tv shows with her husband. She rocked the RBF, cried every time she laughed, and was also a proud member of the Anderson Fire Department's Women's Auxiliary. Tiffany is survived by her loving husband, Matt King; children, Anna, Garrett, and Chloe; parents, Teresa and Terry Richardson and many, many other cherished family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Shirley Griffith; paternal grandparents, Joe and Joyce Richardson; and mother-in-law, Michelle King. Her friends would ask that you take a moment to hug your loved ones - a child, a friend, a parent - or relax in a hammock…make the memories. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, March 15, 2025, 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm, at The Community Room at Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, 200 W. 53rd St., Anderson, IN.
