Timothy Lee Branch

Timothy "Tim" Lee Branch, 74, of Ingalls, passed away unexpectedly on December 11, 2022. He was born on August 8, 1948, in Anderson, Indiana to Joseph and Mary Alice (Richardson) Branch. Tim graduated from Pendleton High School in 1966. He married the love of his life, Willa Mae Chapple in 1967, and was happily married for 55 years. He was very dedicated to her and their family until his untimely death. Tim worked as a skilled tool and die maker at Delco Remy in Anderson for 30 years until his retirement from General Motors in 1998. After retirement, Tim took on a second career as a senior technician for several environmental firms, retiring from SESCO Group in 2020 after a life-altering cardiovascular event. Tim had a lifelong love of automobiles and spent many hours performing his own repairs, restoring cars, going to auto shows, and swap meets. He owned more vehicles than most in his life and fondly recalled each and every one. Tim was a devoted father to his children, Darci Thomas (Lisa Rude), Darrin Branch (Aaron Fullerton), and David Branch. He never missed a game, a concert, or an event even after working every shift and countless overtime hours. When his pride and joy, granddaughter, Chloe Thomas, was born, you could find him rocking her for hours on end. She truly was his shining light. Everyone who knew and met Tim would tell you he was the kindest, gentlest soul and never made an enemy. Often a man of few words, those he did speak were received with love and laughter. Tim will be greatly missed by all who knew him, including his kitties and grand puppies. He is survived by his loving wife; his children; his sister, Cynthia Willis; his only granddaughter, Chloe; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Nina and Von Manifold and Sharon and Charlie Beckham; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Greg Branch; mother and father-in-law, Ella Mae and Jessie Chapple; and many aunts and uncles. Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 17, 2022, from 9:30 am - 11:30 am at Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, Anderson, IN, followed by the service at 11:30 officiated by Rev. Claude Creel.
