Tracy Lynn Shannon

Tracy Lynn Shannon, 62, of Anderson, passed away on August 30, 2026. She was born on August 14, 1964, in Anderson, Indiana, where she resided throughout her life. Tracy graduated from Lapel High School and worked for many years as a nail technician at Class Act Salon and Serenity Salon. She loved her work and took great pride in what she did. Over the years, many of her clients became dear friends, and she genuinely treasured the relationships she built with them. Those who knew Tracy knew how deeply she cared for others. She was warm, compassionate, and generous with her love. She had a way of making people feel comfortable and cared for. She leaves behind countless memories filled with laughter, conversation, and love. Family was at the center of Tracy's life. She cherished the life she and Jerry built together throughout their years of marriage and were incredibly proud of her children and grandchildren. Being a wife, mother, and grandmother brought her tremendous joy, and time spent together as a family was something she valued deeply. Tracy enjoyed playing cards, video games, crafting, and working puzzles. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren, whether they were building LEGOs together or simply enjoying one another's company. It was often the ordinary moments spent with the people she loved that meant the most to her. Tracy is survived by her loving husband of 42 years, Jerry Shannon; son, Eric (Victoria) Shannon; daughter, Lauren Shannon; grandchildren, Lea Shannon and Emily Shannon; brother, Timothy (Tuoi) Manifold; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Russell and Wanda Manifold; brothers, Dean Manifold and Gary Manifold; and sister, Nancy Thomas. Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 5, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory in Anderson, Indiana. Services will immediately follow visitation at 4:00 p.m., with Richard Reynolds officiating. A celebration of life will immediately follow services at The Community Room at Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory. Memorial contributions may be made to an organization of the donor's choosing in Tracy's memory.
