Billie Jean Joslin

December 3, 1931 - April 22, 2022

Billie Jean (Jones-Parrish) Joslin, 90, of Anderson, passed away on April 22, 2022, at the St. Vincent Anderson Regional Hospital. She was born on December 3, 1931, in Anderson, where she lived most of her life. Billie attended Daleville High School. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Billie liked to cook and sew, but most importantly she loved to spend time with her family. She was a member of Parkview Church of the Nazarene. Billie is survived by her loving children, Joe (Susan) Parrish, Rex (Barbara) Parrish, Marjorie Marsh, Vickie (Glenn) Harmon, and John (Angie) Parrish; step-children, Wayne (Sharon) Joslin and Kay (Jim) Parkhurst; grandchildren, Amy (Chris) Hunt, Leah Jones, Derek Parrish, Christopher Keller, Daniel Dodd, Lauren (Chantz Hodson) Dodd, Adam Dodd, Michael Harmon, Duncan Harmon, Victoria Harmon, Shailey (Cameron) Calicoat, and Skyler (Kaylie) Parrish; and great-grandchildren, Shelby, Hunter, Elizabeth, Christopher Jr., Cambreigh, Everleigh, Apollo, Phoenix, Nova, and Chloe. Also, surviving are her siblings, Theo Garner and Robert (Margaret) Jones; niece, Mickey Tinch, and several other nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, Milton Jones and Lola Van Buskirk; husbands, Preston Parrish and JE "Arkie" Joslin; daughter, Joyce Bailey; grandson, Joe "Joey" Parrish, Jr.; and sisters, Anna Coffman, Blanche Foster, Ruth Brewster, Flora Waddell, and Carol Hickey. The family would like to give a special thanks to the entire 5 South staff (Room 528), all the respiratory, occupational, and physical therapists, hospice nurses, and Dr. Robert Anderson at St. Vincent Anderson for all their love and care of mom. Visitation will be held Tuesday, April 26, 2022, 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm at Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, 200 W. 53rd St. Anderson, IN 46013. Services will follow visitation at 6:00 pm at the funeral home with Pastor Jeff Floyd officiating. Cremation will take place following the service with a private graveside service at a later date. www.loosecares.com.
