David D. Grimes Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

David D. Grimes, 71, of Markleville, passed away on June 29, 2022. He was born on August 2, 1950 in Muncie, the son of Harry and Nellie (Wisehart) Grimes. Dave retired from M. K. Betts Engineering & Contracting, Inc. He loved farming with his brother Steve. Most importantly, Dave loved spending time with his family, his children, and his grandchildren. He also enjoyed watching his grandchildren play sports. Dave was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Steve Grimes, and his dog, Harley. He is survived by his wife, Carol Grimes; his daughter, Amanda Wilkins (Mike); his son, Brody Grimes (Jennifer Mitchell-Grimes); his grandchildren, A. J., Brooklyn, Kennedy, and Benji; his brother, John Grimes (Joanie); his sister-in-law, Lynda Grimes; and several nephews. A celebration of David's life will be held on Saturday, July 16 at 1:00 P.M. at Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, 200 W. 53rd Street, Anderson, with visitation from 11:00 A.M.- 1:00 P.M.
