Dennis Keith Roof

Dennis Keith Roof, 79, of Anderson, passed away on June 9, 2022, at his residence. He was born on March 29, 1943, in Anderson, the son of Wilbur and Dorothy (Cooper) Roof. Dennis graduated from Anderson High School in 1961. He retired as a Supervisor over Tool & Die for Delco-Remy Division of General Motors after 37 years of service. Dennis was a member of the Masonic Lodge and the Scottish Rite. He enjoyed bowling, softball, golf, getting his hair cut by his barber, Jim, but most of all, spending time with his family and especially his grandchildren. He is survived by his daughter, Lori (Chuck) Manville; former wife and caregiver, Juanita Snodgrass; step-daughter, Angie (Dave) Washburn; brother, Greg (Lori) Roof; grandchildren, Connor Washburn, Noah Washburn, Luke Washburn, and Chase Manville; nephews, Nathan Roof and Peyton Roof; and fur babies, Miss Katie and Cora Rose. Dennis was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Larry Roof; nephew, Doug Roof; and his grandparents. Cremation was chosen and there will be a celebration of life held at a later date.
