Jack E. Stephenson

August 18, 1934 - February 22, 2022

Jack E. Stephenson, 87, passed away on February 22, 2022, at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital, Kokomo. He was born on August 18, 1934, in Anderson, the son of John and Edna (Maupin) Stephenson. Jack proudly served his country in the United States Army. He retired from IRC & D Motor Freight, Muncie, after 35 years of service. Jack was a member of Teamsters Local 135. He enjoyed computer card games, avid deer hunting, camping, WWE wrestling, truck driving, but most of all, spending time with his family and friends. Jack is survived by his daughters, Patty Stephenson and Angie (David) Addison; son, Larry Stephenson; brother, Fred (Marcia) Stephenson; 5 grandchildren, Joshua, Allison, Jacob (Marissa), Tyler, and Justin; 2 great-grandchildren, Raelynn, and Jacob Jr.; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Katherine Stephenson; son, Gary L. Harris; son-in-law, Robert Young, Jr.; siblings, Buck, Everett, Joann, Gene, and Jacqueline Thorpe. Visitation will be held at Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, 200 West 53rd Street, Anderson, IN, 46013, on Friday, March 4, 2022, from 12:30 pm until 2:30 pm. Services will be at the funeral home on Friday at 2:30 pm with Pastor Don Billey officiating. Burial will take place at East Maplewood Cemetery. www.loosecares.com
