Jeffrey Scott Dowers Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Jeffrey Scott Dowers, 57, Anderson, passed away July 26, 2022, at his home surrounded by his family. He was born October 15, 1964, in Danville, IL, the son of Stephen and Doris (Cook) Dowers. He grew up in Cayuga, IN. Jeff was a graduate of the University of Evansville, where he met his wife, Teresa. Jeff attended Anderson First Friends and Ovid Community Church. He was a stained-glass artist for many years at Moss Glass. Jeff also enjoyed golfing and fishing with his son. He was preceded in death by his daughter in infancy, Sarah Dowers, his father, Stephen Dowers, and a brother in infancy, Stephen Dowers, Jr. Jeff is survived by his wife of 33 years, Teresa (Washington) Dowers, Anderson; his son, Stephen Dowers (Alexandra), McCordsville, IN; his mother, Doris Dowers, Crawfordsville, IN; and his sister, Melody Dowers, Crawfordsville, IN. Funeral services will be on Saturday, July 30, 2022, at 1:00 P.M. at Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, 200 W. 53rd Street, Anderson, with Pastor Keith Wooden and Rev. Jimmy Dowers officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. – 1:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Burial will be in East Maplewood Cemetery. Memorial gifts may be made to Man 4 Man Ministries.
