Levina B. Bryant

October 14, 1920 - January 21, 2022

Levina B. Bryant, 101, of Anderson, passed away on January 21, 2022, at Primrose Retirement Community, Anderson. She was born on October 14, 1920, in Lake Village, Indiana, the daughter of Byron and Ruby (Pring) Bryant. Levina graduated from St. Elizabeth College of Nursing. She had worked as a Registered Nurse for St. John's Hospital for many years. Levina worked for Dr. James Larimore, followed by being employed at Hoyt Wright. Most recently worked at Pay Less for 15 years, finally retiring at the age of 92. Levina attended Madison Park Church of God. She was an avid crafter and enjoyed ceramics. Her genuine and beautiful smile was enjoyed by all. Levina is survived by her daughter, Gloria Phillippe; step-son, Don (Dottie) Phillippe; grandchildren, Dawn Hiatt, Jennifer (Brandon) Libler, Jami Ryan-Childress (Edward), Mary (Eugene) Schoop; Judy (Les) Fuller, Daniel (Julie) Vanderkleed, Sarah (Dan) Haneline, and Amy (Tony) Anesi; and several great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. She was affectionately known as "Granny." She was preceded in death by her parents; daughters, Barbara Vanderkleed and Sonja Phillippe; and sister, Adah Cruzen. Cremation was chosen and there will be no visitation or services. Memorial contributions in Levina's memory may be made to the Catalyst Church of Pendleton. www.loosecares.com.
