Loretta "Jean" Lamb

February 25, 1942 - January 30, 2022

Loretta "Jean" Lamb, 79, of Anderson, passed away on January 30, 2022, at Ascension St. Vincent Anderson. She was born on February 25, 1942, in Indianapolis, the daughter of Estil and Dorothy Willhoite. Loretta was a homemaker and a devoted Pastor's wife. She was a member of Bethany Baptist Church and Pewee Valley Baptist Church. Loretta is survived by her children, Debra (Doug) Miller, Janie Ben Aziza, LaDonna (Mike) May, and Elza Lamb, Jr.; grandchildren, LuJuana, Felicia, Whitney, Janae', Christa, Clay, and Samira; nine great-grandchildren with one on the way; siblings, James (Sharon) Willhoite and Pat (Red) Karol; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Pastor Elza Lamb, Sr.; and two brothers. Visitation will be held Monday, February 7, 2022, from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm at Bethany Baptist Church, 323 E. School Street, Anderson, IN, 46012. Services will be Monday, February 7, 2022, at 1:00 pm at the church with Pastor Bob Adams officiating. Burial will take place with a graveside service in Floydsburg Cemetery in Crestwood, Kentucky, on Tuesday, February 8, 2022, at 2:00 pm. and everyone is welcome to attend.
