Sandra G. Butgereit, 85, of Anderson, passed away on February 1, 2022. She was born on April 25, 1936, in Benton Harbor, Michigan, the daughter of Alexander and Karol Dragomir, and was the second of five sisters. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Sandy is survived by her loving children, Lori (Raymond) Hiatt, Lisa (Douglas) McNeil, Dean (Laura) Butgereit, II, and David Butgereit; grandchildren, Daniel Hiatt, Nathan (Briana) Hiatt, Aaron (Liz) Gardner, Jonathan (Corinna) Gardner, Megan (Robby) Potter, Ashlee (Braden) Metzger, Brittnee (Jacob) Waters, Molly Miner, Abby (Alex) Lopez, Jackson Z. Miner, Lauren Butgereit, and Michael Butgereit; and great-grandchildren, Mia, Adley Ann, Isabella, Judah, Bailee, and Tala. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Dean M. Butgereit, and her parents. A private burial will take place in the Forrestville Cemetery. www.loosecares.com.
