Sue Ellen Elliott

Sue Ellen Elliott, 71, of Chesterfield, passed away on November 26, 2021, at her residence. She was born on October 24, 1950, in Franklin, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Gilbert and Janet Knupp. Sue graduated from Oil City High School, Oil City, PA. She retired as a processor in the imaging department for First Merchants Corporation after 15 years of service. Sue was a member of Middletown United Methodist Church. She enjoyed volunteering at Community Hospital, working the pumpkin patch in the fall, reading her bible, but most of all, spending time with her family and friends. Sue is survived by her children, Jennifer Gegogeine (April Sanders), Jeff (Julie) Gegogeine, Jeremy (Rachel) Gegogeine, and Janet Gegogeine; siblings, Connie (Donald) Rice, Carl (Myrna) Knupp, and Gary (Penny) Knupp; grandchildren, Kaylee, Lindsey, Mason, and Drew Gegogeine; best friend, Anna Lemerick; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; step-mother, Kay Knupp; brother, James Knupp; and her beloved dog, Ivy. Cremation was chosen and a celebration of life will be held at the Middletown United Methodist Church, 625 High Street, Middletown, IN, 47356, on Wednesday, December 1, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. Pastor Tim Glidden will be officiating.
