Virginia Ruth Fox

Virginia Ruth Fox, 101, of Middletown, went to be with the Lord on May 9, 2022, after a long and fulfilling life. Virginia was born on February 17, 1921, in Osgood, Indiana, the daughter of William Albert and Goldie Pearl Knapp. Virginia was married to the love of her life for 71 glorious years. She was very active in the church and community. She enjoyed playing scrabble, gardening and spending time with her family and friends. Her grandchildren were the light of her life. Virginia was a Worthy Matron of the Eastern Star #591 at Fellowship Masonic Temple of the Anderson Chapter. She is survived by her children, Kathryn (husband, Robert) McCorkle; eight grandchildren, Penny (Husband, Paul) Johnson, Janet (husband, Jim) Triplett, Cindy (husband, John) Cooper, Tim Fox, Chris (husband, Bud) Wright, Angie (husband, Jeff) Dick, Hank (wife, Katelyn) McCorkle; 12 great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Virginia was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Shirley Emmett Fox; children, Shirley Ruth Kershner and David William Fox; and two brothers and one sister. Visitation will be held at Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, 200 West 53rd Street, Anderson, IN, 46013, on Friday, May 13, 2022, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Services will be at the funeral home on Friday at 1:00 p.m. with Rev.
