Jimmy Mitchell Carmack Jr. 52, of Pendleton, Indiana passed away at Johnson Memorial Hospital in Franklin, Indiana. He was born in Anderson, Indiana to Jimmy Mitchell Carmack Sr. and Kay Francis (McCoy) Carmack. Jimmy has grown up in Pendleton since he was 5 years old. Jimmy was very well known. He had lots of friends and family. Jimmy was the type of guy that if you needed any help or anything he would give the shirt off his back to help you. Jimmy worked for himself tinting windows. Jimmy was a tinting "Legend" with 37 years of experience. He was a master mechanic fixing cars and trucks. Jimmy had a heart of gold. Jimmy enjoyed helping people fix their cars and just about anything else as he was a jack of all trades Jimmy enjoyed spending his time with his loving wife, and soul-mate. Jimmy's kids and grandchildren were the light of his life. He loved his family and would have done anything to protect all of us. Some of Jimmy's fondest memories and moments were working out in the garage alongside his kids and wife. Jimmy enjoyed racing go-karts with his son and friends during the summer at his personal racetrack, Markleville Motor Speedway. You could find him doing numerous other things with his daughter, kayaking, and working on her car. Jimmy enjoyed playing in the yard with the grandkids. Jimmy enjoyed teaching them about cars and window tinting. He loved his classic cars and really just about anything with an engine. Jimmy is survived by his loving wife of 30 1/2 years, Angela (Ruffner) Carmack; his children Kyle Thieman (Tori), Corey Carmack (Aubree Christy), and Ashley Carmack (Ryan Downs); mother, Kay Francis (McCoy) Carmack; and father, Jimmy Mitchell Carmack Sr. His siblings, Derenda (Carmack) Strombeck) and Davida (Carmack) Benefield. He is survived by his grandchildren Clementine Ann Renee' Carmack, Noramae Ann Thieman, and Colton Weston Lewis Carmack; brother-in-law, Jason Strombeck. He is preceded in death by his aunt, Sharen York; uncle, Bart Carmack; grandfather, Johnnie Carmack; grandmother, Vivian (Franklin) Carmack, grandmother, Doris Ratliff Jackson; grandfather, James McCoy; father-in-law, Lewis Ruffner; mother-in-law, Sherry Ruffner.
