Alexandria - Kevin Ray McKinster, 46, Alexandria, died September 16, 2003 at St. Vincent Mercy Hospital, Elwood. He was born November 12, 1956 in Indianapolis, Indiana, and resided in Alexandria, Indiana. He grew up in Indianapolis, moving to Anderson for 10 years and Alexandria the last three years. He currently was a contributing article writer for the Alexandria paper. The past 21 years he was an employee of the Auditor of the State of Indiana, and previously worked at Dean Brothers Pumps in Indianapolis for 6 1/2 years. He was a graduate of Pike High School in Indianapolis and Butler University. He was a member and Deacon of Bethany Christian Church in Anderson. He was a member of Alexandria Masonic Lodge #235 F. & A.M., Scottish Rite Valley of Indianapolis, Murat Temple Shrine and Madison County Shrine Club. He was a driver for the Shriner's Hospital, was a Boy Scout Assistant and Scout Master and Girl Scout Troop Leader. He is survived by his Wife whom he married April 20, 1985: Julayne Jones McKinster. Son: Brian McKinster at home. Daughter: Kaylynn McKinster at home. Sister: Denise & husband Stanley Bertch of Vicksburg, Michigan. Twin Brother: Karle & wife Katherine McKinster of Belmont, New Hampshire. Parents: Robert & Bertha Zeiher McKinster. Nephews: Kristopher McKinster of Belmont, New Hampshire. Corey Bertch of Vicksburg, Michigan. Nieces: Alyson McKinster of Belmont, New Hampshire. Chelsea Bertch of Vicksburg, Michigan. Mother-in-law & Father-in-law: Doris & Billy Jones of Anderson. Services will be Friday, September 19, 2003 at 10:00 AM, at Bethany Christian Church;1920 N. 200 East; Anderson, with Kent Stookey officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Anderson . Visitation will be from 4-8:00 PM, Thursday, September 18, 2003 at Robert D. Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, North Chapel. 6061 State Road 9 South; Alexandria and one hour prior to service at the church. Masonic Service at 6:30 PM, Thursday, September 18, 2003 .
