Michael Keith Arnett

Michael Keith Arnett was born, July 10, 1947, in Indianapolis. He passed away peacefully, November 24, 2020, surrounded by family as the angels ushered him into his eternal home to be with his Abba Father forever. Michael lived a very full life for the past 26 years, after his faithful Father God, raised him from death and subsequent impossible death situations for many months following, and then sustained him these past years in spite of his medical prognosis. He was a true miracle touched by God, and many named him "Miracle Mike". Michael worked as an institutional sales representative in his early career with Ko-We-Ba Foods and later Rykoff-Sexton also known as US Food Service during most of his career, having medically retired in September, 1994. Michael served his country in a medical unit while serving six years in the Army Reserve. His most treasured times were serving the Lord with family and friends. He had an undeniable simple trust and faith in his faithful God. His family was invaluable to him, and he loved to serve and cook for them with his culinary skills. Just hanging with the family in his home laughing, playing games, chatting, vacationing together every year, and just being together were his most treasured times. He had a passion to support all his grandchildren in all their sports, academic, and spiritual achievements. He was a very proud Paw Paw. Mr. Arnett, during his lifetime, attended and served in various ministry positions at Glad Tidings Assembly of God, serving as worship leader for a few years, and most recently Faith Church and Northview Church with his children. Mr. Arnett is survived by his wife, Linda (Melloh) Arnett; daughters, Melissa (Tad) Finch, and Melanie (Duane) Morris; and five grandchildren, Michael (Rebekah) Finch, Jacob Morris, Madison Finch, Benjamin Morris, and Olivia Morris. He was also looking forward to meeting his first great-grandson to be born in March of 2021. Michael was the youngest son of Maxine (Brown) Arnett. He is also survived by his brother, Russell Arnett; and his sister, Carol (Don) Rodgers; and several nieces and nephews are also surviving. The family would like to express their gratitude to Paradigm Health and Hospice, and his nurse "Rippey". Also a special thanks to Dr. Michael Ball and Dr. John Schutzman for their many years of care and the St. Vincent Cardiac Group. Due to the COVID restrictions, private family services will be held at Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory. Services honoring Michael's life and legacy will be webcast live at 2:00 pm, Sunday, November 29, 2020, through the Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory YouTube page with his son in law, Tad Finch, and Pastor Nate Napunga officiating.
